Intern for the Indiana House of Representatives

Written by emallers on September 10th, 2013
I am excited to announce that the Indiana House of Representatives is now accepting applications to intern during the 2014 legislative session. This paid internship gives college students and recent graduates the opportunity to be a part of Indiana’s legislative process by issuing press releases, handling constituent work or even working in our IT department.
This is a fulfilling and unique internship with endless learning and networking opportunities. I highly encourage those who are qualified to check out the internship website here.
Interns can serve in the Member Services, Communications, Technology and Policy Departments. As a state legislator, I work very closely with the interns that are assigned to me each session. The internship program offers an inside look at the Legislature and helps interns fine tune their personal and professional skills. It is always great to see the interns complete the program and get involved in other organizations, companies or activities following the conclusion of session.

Applications will be accepted until October 31 for the 2014 session. Applicants must be at least sophomores in college, graduate students or recent graduates. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact:
