Internship Opportunities

Written by emallers on July 28th, 2017

Indiana House Republicans are now accepting internship applications for the 2018 legislative session.

The House Republican Internship Program is a unique opportunity to participate in state government at the Indiana Statehouse while gaining valuable hands-on experience. This paid program during the spring semester gives college students the chance to work one-on-one with state legislators while seeing firsthand how laws are made.

Internships are open to college sophomores, juniors and seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates of all majors. In addition to getting paid, students can earn college credit. This one-of-a-kind experience offers networking opportunities and could open the door to a career.

Also, you may have noticed that my email newsletter has an exciting new look. Not only will I continue sharing good news about what’s happening at the Statehouse, but I’ll be highlighting local events, free resources and special opportunities. You can contact me at h58@iga.in.gov or 317-232-9648.
